The Digging-Est Dog (Beginner Books(R)) Reviews
This is one of my favorite children's book. I purchased for my twin 4 year old grandsons. I read it so many times when their mom was little that I still remembered the first paragraph by heart! Lol!
This was a children's classic when I was teaching many years ago -- the kids never tired of it, and they learned that animals have feelings of joy and sadness and empathy. I love the story to this day. (In fact, after decades, I still mist up a little every time I read it.) These days, I purchase copies for my adult dog-loving friends who work with me at an animal shelter. They treasure the story as much as I do. So here's to no more "hard, cold floors!" Paws up to animal lovers everywhere!
I didn't realize this was a board book, but it's just perfect for my granddaughters. I bought it for the two year old, but since it's a board book the baby can play with it without damaging it
I saw reviews about this book being bad due to the dog getting punished, and I have to laugh. Yes, the dog get's into trouble for digging up the whole damn town. I wouldn't be too thrilled either.
Fun book for kids.
